About this event
The Kunstshouw ('art show') is a route with a wide range of beautiful, exciting and unexpected contemporary art that is held each year under a new topic. Numerous surrounding activities are also organised, such as art performances, music and workshops.
Around 200 artists show more than 1,500 works of art to 10,000 visitors from home and abroad at 34 locations in 11 villages on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland. Among other things, these works can be seen in churches, farms, barns, and in a mill. Some private locations are only open to the public due to this specific event.
The route leads you past beautiful (ring) villages, polders, forests, and beaches where the Oosterschelde lobsters and Zeeland mussels are already waiting for you. Take your bike (or car) and enjoy the many diverse art forms and the island's landscape, immersed in Zeeland's light.
Are you curious? All information and the route itself can be found in the full colour Kunstschouw magazine which you obtain in the VVV Inspiration Points (tourist information offices) on Schouwen-Duiveland or on the website www.kunstschouw.nl/en/visitors/magazine/.
