About this location

The 25th Art Route in Terneuzen

Enjoy outdoor art, where imagination and reflection converge. This year, the Art Route in Terneuzen celebrates its 25th anniversary with the theme "Reflection."

Both emerging talent and internationally renowned artists—such as Atelier Van Lieshout—can be seen on the banks of the Western Scheldt in this anniversary edition.

This year's Route has the theme "Reflection" and includes, in addition to a 1.5 km route with outdoor sculptures on the Scheldt Boulevard, a poetry promenade, a temporary art museum in the city center (the INGang), a legal graffiti wall, and various participatory projects with both adults and children.

Poetry is back again this year, featuring work by Wim Hofman, Brother Dieleman, the Terneuzen Poetry Guild, and others.

At Museum de INGang, you can view work by Hans Overvliet, Andrea Cook, and Ernest Joachim, among others. Or contribute to the ever-growing artwork. Create your own personalized tile with a word from the past, present, or future and hang it on your wall. Also on display at the museum: the 48 winning photos from the "Reflection" photo competition and the tapestry created during the "Threads of Our Dutch Slavery Past" project.

Scheldeboulevard: July 20 to September 14, from sunrise to sunset.

Museum de INGang: July 5 to September 14. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Stadhuisplein 5, Terneuzen.

Free admission. See www.verbeeldingsroute.nl for all activities.
