Stalletje onder aan de Dijk

About this location
By the Stekeldijk, close to the Veerse Meer, you'll find the welcoming 'Stalletje onder aan de Dijk' (Little Stall at the Foot of the Dike), run by Ann-Marie and her son Jonathan. Their philosophy is simple: 'flavour through the seasons'. That means fresh produce from their own land, supplemented with vegetables, fruit and regional products from farmers and producers nearby.
No strawberries in winter, and cherries only once they're actually ripe on the tree. So you'll find strawberries, cherries, plums and apples, as well as seasonal vegetables. Ann-Marie likes to call herself a kind of local broker for fruit and vegetables from the Bevelanden: close by, local, fresh, with attention to where it comes from.
For those with a sweet tooth there's plenty of choice, including homemade jam, dessert sauces and advocaat. The stall also has a small gift shop with a changing, surprising selection of items.
Stalletje onder aan de Dijk is more than just a place to shop. It's a friendly rest stop on Noord-Beveland, where you can pause for a moment, have a drink and enjoy the rural surroundings.
