Farm Shop De Plantage

"We are originally fruit growers," says Miriam Bruijnzeel about the history of de Plantage. "My grandfather had a mixed farm, but since the eighties my father mainly started growing fruit." In the Landwinkel they still sell fruit from their own orchard: pears, apples, cherries, plums, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries.

Those who want to taste that fruit can visit from April to 1 October for the high teas that Miriam and her team offer. Plum flan, apple cake and fruit salads show what the season has to offer. "If you eat something at the place where it comes from, it tastes even better."

The Landwinkel has grown again into a mixed business, offering besides fruit also juices, farm cheese, vegetables, dairy, deli meats, farm delicacies and Zeeland regional products. Special is the camper pitch on "the narrowest part of Zeeland".
