The stall on the Zandweg

Just around the corner of the Kanaalweg and the Zandweg, along the Canal through Zuid-Beveland, lies the fruit stall of Franda and Anne Marrie. "We sell all our products with passion. We have a real connection with the products we sell." And you can feel it: almost every product has a story behind it.

Franda and Anne Marrie are both beekeepers. They sell honey and honey ointment and are also committed to the preservation of endangered bees. You'll also find fruit and all kinds of home-made treats, such as dried apple and pear slices, special jams and syrups. The blackcurrant syrups — made from blackcurrants, elderberries and apple — are delicious with water, prosecco, white wine or champagne: a true Zeeland kir royal.

And then there's the home-made piccalilli.
