Zeeuws Goud Fruit Farm

About this location
Red fruit is Zeeland gold. That is how you could characterise the business of the Goud family in Waarde, although that description doesn't really do justice to everything they undertake. "It started with red fruit," says Lau Goud about the beginnings in the nineties. By now, multiple family members work in Zeeuws Goud and Zeeuws Genieten.
Strawberries, red currants and raspberries form the basis, supplemented with plums, cherries and blackberries. In the self-service shop on the Weelweg you will also find homemade jam, eggs, honey from their own orchard and juices. A lot of fruit is used in the pies that Iris, Lau's wife, makes.
In summer, Lau enthusiastically gives tours about the cultivation. But there is more: you can eat here, stay overnight in a chalet or camp on the farm. Year-round there are themed evenings, communal dinners, pizzas from the wood-fired oven and wintery game evenings.
