Sint-Lievensmonstertoren ''The Thick Tower''

Sint-Lievensmonstertoren, also known as ‘De Dikke Toren’ (The Fat Tower).
The tower dominates the skyline of Zierikzee. Construction of the tower began in 1454. It was built as a free-standing structure next to the accompanying Gothic church, which unfortunately burned down in 1832. The tower was supposed to be about 130 meters high, but construction was halted after the city suffered one setback after another.
The ground floor can be visited free of charge.

Adults: 6 euros
Children: 4 euros for children up to 16 years of age.
