On the south side of Veerse Meer Lake you´ll find the historical town of Veere and Marina Veere. Set in the Zeeland Delta where waters from the Rhine, Maas and Schelde rivers meet the North Sea, this marina is only 60 miles away from Dunkirk in France.

This part of the Delta is nestled behind colossal waterworks that regulate the tides and water levels. Even a strong gust of wind will only work up a few (rather good) waves, and you´ll be surrounded by the province´s unique and beautiful countryside.
