This year, why not visit the Zeeland Flower Bulb Route?
Four beautiful spring gardens will be open on April 17th and 18th, all located in Walcheren. The gardens were planted last autumn with various types of flower bulbs, and with bulbs from previous years, it will once again be a feast of color.
The gardens vary greatly in design, but the love of flower bulbs is expressed in each one. You'll find cheerful combinations of tulips and daffodils alongside early-flowering garden plants, as well as subtle color combinations of bulbs with the fresh, emerging leaves of perennials. Various spring shrubs will also be in bloom, further enhancing the spring feeling. It's also easy to see that all these flowering plants provide a generous food source for insects. And the earlier these insects are active, the better the biological balance in the garden will be. All of this makes it well worth a visit. It's an ideal spring outing, because the gardens are so close together.

The open days will be held on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission prices vary by garden.
