Come rain or shine, when it comes to kids, there’s never a bad moment to play. Luckily there are lots of indoor and outdoor playgrounds to choose from in Zeeland, from challenging treetop adventures to jungle safaris and indoor play areas. Most of these locations have their parents in mind too! We have put together a list of some of the best playgrounds in Zeeland. Read on.

Klimbos Westerschouwen

Westenschouwen, Schouwen-Duiveland

If the weather’s fine, why not take on the challenge of the
woodland adventure playground in Westerschouwen? There are 6 different routes with over 90 obstacles to negotiate. From rope ladders to zip lines, and all of this with fantastic views across the North Sea (that’s if you’re not afraid of heights!) Kids of all shapes and sizes (from 5 years old and up), as well as grown-ups, can let their hair down amongst the tree tops. To help you recover, why not rest and relax with refreshments on the outdoor terrace at De Zeeuse Gasthut?

There’s a rope walkway, a karting circuit and even a bungee jump for real daredevils. There are indoor and outdoor play areas for toddlers too. The premises are fully enclosed and, as well as playground equipment, there is an enthralling nature garden and a small cafe.

Hof Pop

There’s plenty to do for the small ones here! There is an indoor play area, a bouncy castle and a petting zone with cuddly pigs, guinea pigs and rabbits. You can also visit the discovery workshops (Poplab) where kids can work on their creative skills. For example, you can build your own racing car or marble run. De Jonge Johannes children’s farm

This children’s farm-cum-pancake house is just perfect for a fun-packed day. There’s a mega-sized bouncy castle, a bewildering maze, all sorts of climbing frames, a waterplay area and even a crazy golf course. Be sure, you won’t come back disappointed!
