Grijpskerke Christmas Market – Saturday 9 December
At this covered Christmas Market, with over 40 stalls, you can surround yourself with all manner of Christmas regalia, antiques, puzzles, jewellery, gifts and much, much more in the Nimmerdor village hall. Open from 10 am to 5 pm.
Kapelle Christmas Market – Saturday 9 December
Enjoy Christmas stalls full of decorations and good food, climbing the church tower and a musical opening of the Christmas market by the Young Petra Choir. The Chapel Christmas Market will take place between 10am and 5pm at the Reformed Church.
Goes Christmas Market – Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December
From bargain-hunting at the many Christmas stalls to enjoying a warm mug of Glühwein and live music, with just a dash of Charles Dickens. The Goes Christmas market takes place in the town’s Grote Kerk. The church itself is more than worthy of a visit! Savour some fine Christmas cheer in Goes on Saturday 9 December, between 11 am and 5 pm, and on Sunday 10 December, between 12 midday and 5 pm.
Veere Christmas Market – Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December
From early December, Veere comes to life with dozens of illuminated Christmas trees. Between 11 am and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, the Grote Kerk will be hosting the Christmas market with a multitude of stalls serving up a mix of art, culture, books, music, sustainable products, second-hand items and organic food and drink. Fun activities will also be organised for young and old alike.
Kats Christmas Market – Sunday 10 December
Kats’ parish church will be home to a cheery Christmas market between 2 and 7 pm. Browse the stalls for some great Christmas gifts and decorations for inside and outside your home. And why not pop into the café next door for a home-made delicacies and other treats?
Oostdijk Winter Fair – Friday 15 December
From women’s fashion and jewellery to toys and a delicatessen; browse over 40 stalls and find something unique for yourself during the Oostdijk Winter Fair, located in the characterfully illuminated 2e Vlietweg. Don’t forget to take the kids along for some fun activities! The Winter Fair takes place between 3.30 and 9 pm.
Poortvliet Winter Market – Friday 15 December
There’s plenty of brightly coloured stalls and the aroma of freshly baked delicacies and mulled wine to give you a warm Christmas glow at Poortvliet’s winter market. Held in Achterstraat, local traders will be selling the very best hand-made Christmas wares between 4 and 8 pm. This winter market is the perfect opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit, especially when evening falls and the lights start to come on.
Burgh-Haamstede Christmas Fair – Friday 15 to Saturday 16 December
This Christmas fair takes place in and around the church in Burgh and offers a delightful mix of food, drink, music, local products and plenty of art and culture. On Friday afternoon, children will be given an opportunity to make Christmas tree decorations and take part in the lantern parade that follows. On Saturday, these creations will be on display at various market stalls. On Friday, the fair will be open from 3 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm.
Axel Christmas Market – Saturday 16 December
For the first time in over 30 years, Axel’s Christmas Market will be taking place this year on a Saturday instead of the traditional Thursday evening. The market will be held from 12 midday to 9 pm and après-ski tent might even go on until the small hours.
Hulst Christmas Market – Saturday 23 December
A cosy Christmas market at the cosy Houtmarkt in Hulst with stalls, mulled wine, fire pits, stage, music and entertainment all afternoon. The market will take place from 13:00 - 18:00.
