Fruitstal van Caroline en Wim

About this location
It started during the late harvest, with a storage crate turned upside down, recalls Caroline Barendregt-Karelse in Schore. At the edge of this welcoming village, situated on the Canal through Zuid-Beveland, her fruit stall now stands. Visitors can browse around and take a rest on the picnic bench.
"If there's one product that people come especially for, it's the pears of the Doyenné du Comice variety." Caroline recommends eating them over the sink, as the juice flows abundantly. "A pear the way a pear should taste, straight from our own orchard. You can be a little proud of that."
She also makes jam from strawberries, plums and other fruit. Together with Wim, she sells vegetables and fruit from friendly growers and fellow villagers. "It's a different world from the supermarket."
